Truck driver pay calculator

Per mile or a percentage of the load? Put in a typical week and the pay rates you are weighing. See what the driver takes home before taxes under each, and what each costs you per mile.

A typical week
Pay rates
Pay byWeek, before taxesPer mile

The highest week is in green. Per-mile pay is the same on a cheap load and a good one; percentage pay rises and falls with the rate the load pays, so the driver shares both.

How it is worked out

Per mile = miles × rate per mile. Percentage = load revenue × percentage. Per trip = trips × rate per trip. Per hour = hours × hourly rate.

"Per mile" in the last column is the week's pay divided by the miles driven, the same yardstick for each, so you can compare them with your cost per mile.

This is pay before taxes, deductions or reimbursements, and it is not tax or legal advice: overtime and minimum-wage rules depend on the driver's status and your state.

Weekly settlements, worked out for you

Haularo pays each driver the way you do (per mile, percentage, per trip or flat), with deductions and reimbursements, ready every week.
